Your niece is a cutie! And last week, I would've been jealous of the green grass and beautiful sunset. But today, the temperature hit a high of 56. Almost but not quite like the temps in your neck of the woods. Spring is coming.
Your niece is a cutie - I love her hair. Little kids can be exhausting but also very inspiring; EVERYTHING in life is such a big, exciting deal to them. (Daniel was going wild with glee this morning because we got to ride the "bus!" as he reminded me about forty-five times).
How is it that we've known each other for years and you never mentioned that your parents lived in the Shire? I hope you get to spend a lot of time under those trees - hang in there.

Love your elf of a niece (love the description, too!) and that lovely, peaceful photo. I hope it brought a moment of calm to your heart.
