Wow. Holy shit. I seriously can't believe this. Now we know where some Nazi doctors ended up after the war. They're in Florida at GenTec. This is some sick-fucking racialized science. First it was the unique head and facial structure of the Jew, now it's the various vitamin needs of different groups, all based on a faulty science of genetic difference.The genetics of race is so 18th century, what are they thinking? I guess it's a clever marketing ploy, but it perpetuates some seriously deadly ideology. Plus, what can biracial rejects like me do for our vitamin needs? I'm not imprisoned by these completely socially constructed racial categories, so which pill do I choose? Will there be a "mulatto mix" or a "hapa home remedy" soon?
Is it really a good idea for folks to purchase and ingest race-specific pills from a corporation named GenSpec? I feel like maybe I've seen this film... it was either sci-fi or the history channel. Can't remember. But I know it didn't end well.
The next surgeon general will surely identify the asian pill as the "model multivitamin". It will be the ideal formulaic balance that the other minority vitamins should aspire to.
