Reflections on the Otter-ial Ethical Vision:
"Aiming at the 'good life' with and for others, in just institutions."

I seek a bay with plenty of kelp for rich sea-beds. There will be no Great Whites, nor Orcas. The abalone is plentious.

My friends, who together with me aspire to this bay, frolick and play. We dive deep and find choice morsels to eat.

The abalone will be distributed to all according to need; there will be no strife nor struggle nor hoarding. The rocks used to crack the abalone shells will no longer induce chest fractures. Symbiosis and peace reign.

McLiu, I'm still waiting for an entry on your page. I'm particularly interested in the "grit" and "sexuality" themes! We need you and MET to keep it real for us with the Bay Area styles.

Aw man. I should have just remained anonymous. I can't handle the pressure of blog entries and clever posts. I'm just a nice swamp rat from Oakland, trying to get by like everyone else.

Believe me, I know what you mean. I felt (and feel) the same. The reason I got roped in was b/c I've got an addict's personality and I cave easily to peer pressure. I just keep telling myself that it doesn't matter how lame my posts are. Somebody out there likes me, and that's enough! Oh well, if you ever change your mind...
